GENERAL INFORMATION

How many tours do you run at once?

  • Just one! Each time slot is reserved for a single group, so you get the full VIP experience.

Do I have to pay for my charter in advance?

  • While you don’t have to pay immediately, reservations are required, and we can’t guarantee your spot until payment is made.

What types of payment do you accept?

  • We accept cash, credit/debit cards, PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle. No treasure chests, please!

How many people can join my charter?

  • Our preferred group size is 6 passengers, but for special occasions, we may be able to accommodate up to 10 guests on a bareboat charter. Give us a call, and we’ll do our best to make it happen! Additional surcharges may apply.

Are there any age restrictions?

  • Nope! All ages are welcome. However, please note that we do not provide life jackets for infants, as the Coast Guard has no approved PFD (personal flotation device) for them.

Is the vessel wheelchair accessible?

  • Due to the design of our boat, we unfortunately cannot provide wheelchair accessibility. Boarding requires stepping 12-18 inches up, down, or over. If you have limited mobility, contact us in advance to discuss possible accommodations.

Is there a bathroom onboard?

  • Yes! No need to worry about holding it until you’re back on shore.

When should I arrive for my charter?

  • Please arrive at least 30 minutes before departure for a quick vessel orientation—this helps ensure a smooth and safe experience!

What should I wear?

  • Comfortable, secure footwear is a must for safety. Other than that, dress for fun in the sun!

  • Light snacks and beverages are included with your charter. Want something extra? Let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request (additional surcharges may apply).

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

  • We strive to! Just let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly. Additional charges may apply for customized meal options.

Can I bring my own food?

  • Absolutely! Just let us know when you book so we can make arrangements to enhance your experience.

Can I bring my own drinks?

  • No outside alcohol is allowed, but don’t worry—beer, wine, soda, tea, and bottled water are included in your charter package. Hard liquor is not permitted on board per charter regulations, and the captain reserves the right to stop serving alcohol at any time for safety reasons.

SPECIAL EVENTS & CUSTOMIZATIONS

Can I book a charter for a special event?

  • Yes! Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, engagement, bachelor/bachelorette party, corporate outing, rocket launch, sunset cruise, or bioluminescence tour, we’ll do our best to make it an unforgettable experience. Special requests, such as catered meals, may come with additional surcharges.

PRICING & POLICIES

Are taxes included in the price?

  • Yes, the price you see is the price you pay—no surprise fees!

What is your cancellation policy?

  • If you need to cancel within 0-6 hours of your trip, rescheduling is your only option. Our standard cancellation policy requires 48 hours' notice for a full refund.

Do you offer trip insurance?

  • Yes! For 20% of your total tour price, you can purchase trip insurance, which allows you to cancel up to 6 hours before departure for a full cash refund.

What’s your refund policy?

  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance qualify for a full cash refund. If you purchase trip insurance, you have extra flexibility in case of last-minute changes.

What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

  • If the trip is canceled before departure due to bad weather, you’ll receive a full refund.

  • If the trip is cut short due to weather, we’ll issue a partial refund based on the remaining time.

  • For safety reasons, the captain has the discretion to adjust the itinerary without prior notice.

Do I need to sign a waiver?

  • Yes, all guests (or a parent/guardian for minors) must complete a release of liability waiver online before booking and boarding.

KAYAK FAQS

How do I rent a kayak?

  • Kayak rentals can be booked online through our website or in person at our rental location. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are recommended to ensure availability.

Is prior kayaking experience required?

  • No experience is necessary! Our team provides basic paddling instructions and safety guidelines before you hit the water.

What’s included in the rental?

  • Each rental comes with a kayak, paddle, and a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket.

How much does a kayak rental cost?

  • Pricing varies depending on the rental duration and kayak type. Visit our Kayak rental page for details.

Is a reservation required?

  • Reservations are recommended, especially during peak times and weekends, but walk-ins are accepted based on availability.

What payment methods are accepted?

  • We accept major credit cards and digital payments. Cash payments may be accepted at our rental location.

What is the cancellation policy?

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance will receive a full refund. Same-day cancellations may be subject to a fee.

What's the latest I can book a rental?

  • All kayaks must be returned by 6 p.m. EST or, depending on the season, at least 30 minutes before sunset. Rentals are not available after 5 p.m. EST.

Is there an age requirement for renting a kayak?

  • Renters must be at least 18 years old with a valid ID. Minors can participate with a parent or guardian’s consent.

Is wearing a life jacket required?

  • Yes, life jackets must be worn at all times while on the water for safety.

Are there weight limits for the kayaks?

  • Single kayaks have a weight limit of 275 lbs, while tandem kayaks can support a combined weight of up to 450 lbs.

Can I bring my dog on the kayak?

  • We love pets, but we kindly ask that you do not bring them with you on the kayak. For the safety of both you and your pet, we do not allow animals on our rentals.

What should I bring with me?

  • It’s recommended to bring sunscreen, water, a hat and a waterproof bag for personal belongings.

What happens if the weather is bad?

  • If weather conditions are unsafe, rentals can be rescheduled or refunded.

Can I bring alcohol on the kayak?

  • For safety reasons, alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited.
